Welcome to our new website……it has been an embarrassingly long time since the last update, but we will endeavour to improve on this front.

Adelaide Royal has been our only show to date this season, which was extremely successful. Our large yearling filly Rosedale Vanity Fair was second in the yearling and two year old filly class to Lyn Warburton’s Rosedale Songster, and they then stood Champion and Reserve Filly. Rosedale Royal Chatter won the Yearling Colt class, but his behaviour in the Championship left a little to be desired – it was his first ever show! Rosedale Songster then went on to be sashed Supreme Riding Pony.
Rosedale Vanity Fair was sold after the show to Ainsley Duncan of NSW, and is now being produced in Victoria by Darren Telford and Greg Gerry. She has had two outings since Adelaide, and was Supreme Riding Pony at Sunbury Ag, and then Reserve Champion Filly at the Victorian Riding Pony Pageant in November. This filly will be one to watch out for with a saddle on.
Rosedale Royal Chatter has now been gelded and is turned out.
Rosedale Simone has also commenced her saddle career with Bree Petrie in Victoria. She has been extremely successful and rarely beaten; her notable wins to date included Champion Senior Led and Champion Newcomer at the Victorian Riding Pony Pageant, as well as Runner Up Newcomer Large Pony at the Victorian Hack Council HOY. Thanks Bree for a wonderful job.

Rosedale Easter Fair has also started under saddle in SA with Leanne Donoghue. She has gained performances for this year’s Adelaide and Melbourne Royals and we look forward to showing her there.

We have one yearling gelding in work for the Melbourne Summer Royal, a beautiful up to height pony/ small Galloway Rosedale Notting Hill. He has been sold to Karen Middlebrook in Victoria.

All four foals are now safely on the ground, the latest arrival being a colt out of Colbeach Simone (imp) by Whitmere Prince of Pop on the fifth of January. We have three beautiful fillies also by Prince of Pop – photos of the fillies are on our new foals page.
